In addition to TestFixtures for the Automatiq TestSystem, Automatiq manufacturers a line of inexpensive Clamshell Bed-of-Nails Test Fixtures and bases for use in custom test systems.
The Bed-of-Nails TestFixture Kit is ideal for medium to high volume products where speed of loading and long life can justify the extra expense and complexity of the fixture.
The Standard Clamshell fixture is 8.3" x 10" suitable for a 6" x 9" board. The Wide Clamshell fixture is 8.3" x 14" and is suitable for a 6" x 13" board. Contact Automatiq directly for custom sizes.
The basic Clamshell fixture does not include a base. A standard 2U (3.5") high base is also available with cutout and mounting hardware to accommodate either Clamshell fixture. Custom bases to accommodate test circuits are available. Contact Automatiq directly for custom bases.
The basic Clamshell fixture is provided undrilled.
A complete Ready-to-Wire test fixture including drilling, installed pogo pins, and board location hardware is available. Complete the Request for Quote form and send it to Automatiq for a fixed price quotation for a Ready-to-Wire test fixture for your board. We will need the board Gerber files, a list of contact points, a way to relate the contact points with the Gerber files, and a sample board to get started.
If your board only requires a few simple probe points, Automatiq can provide a very inexpensive Ready-to-Wire Test Fixture. If your have a difficult to probe board, let Automatiq provide a quote. Automatiq has extensive experience at designing test fixtures to probe difficult boards.
