In addition to TestFixtures for the Automatiq TestSystem, Automatiq manufacturers a line of inexpensive Clamshell Bed-of-Nails Test Fixtures and bases for use in custom test systems.
The Bed-of-Nails TestFixture Kit is ideal for medium to high volume products where speed of loading and long life can justify the extra expense and complexity of the fixture.
The basic Clamshell fixture does not include a base. A standard 2U (3") high base is also available with cutout and mounting hardware to accommodate either Clamshell fixture. Custom bases to accommodate test circuits are available. Contact Automatiq directly for custom bases.
The Standard Clamshell fixture is 8.2" x 10" suitable for a 6" x 9" board. The Wide Clamshell fixture is 8.3" x 14" and is suitable for a 6" x 13" board. Contact Automatiq directly for custom sizes.
The Clamshell fixture is provided undrilled. A complete fixture including drilling, installed pogo pins, and board location hardware is available. Pin and mounting positions may be provided by the customer or can be determined by Automatiq using Gerbers, schematics, and test-point lists.
